Dairy Free Santas Spiked Milk
Since it is a creamy milkshake made with ice cream—no dairy needed! With so many non-dairy ice cream options out there, that are made with almond milk, cashew milk and coconut milk.
Best Rum to Use for this Cocktail Milkshake
Rum is popular to serve at Christmas and this is made for all adults and because Christmas rum cocktails are popular at this time of year, this tastes like the ultimate milkshake. I choose to use dark rum, but light rum/ white rum will also work. It just has a lighter flavor.

Garnishes
Rum and coconut make the perfect pair, and with coconut milk in the drink (you can also use cream of coconut) I added a festive touch by rimming the glass with shredded coconut—it reminds me of fresh snow! I also grated fresh nutmeg on top for extra flavor and a beautiful finish. You can also add cinnamon sticks if you like.
Kid Friendly
Want to make this for your kids? Simply skip the rum or substitute a non-alcoholic extract like almond, vanilla, maple, or mint for a festive, alcohol-free version!
Cheers to Santa
Let’s raise a glass to the hard-working gift giver! This grown-up treat is the ultimate way to toast the season—equal parts festive and decadent.

Use rum extract instead of rum.
Hmmm, I’m not sure I’d want to drink any extract.
Delicious! I made for a cocktail party contest and won! Not to strong but you definitely taste the rum. If it is too strong add more I cream. I used coconut creamer
This is amazing! Congratulations and thank you for the tip using coconut creamer.
