Boozy Irish Coffee Milkshake Optional Additions

Add a shot of espresso, strong coffee, or cold brew or a daring coffee liqueur to transform these milkshakes into mini espresso martini’s. Garnish with coffee beans for a classy touch. Mix in a splash of Jameson Irish whiskey for extra Irish flair, or drizzle with chocolate syrup for a sweet finish or any of your favorite finishing touches.

Creamy Milkshake Thickness

This milkshake is thick and creamy, but if you prefer a thicker milkshake, by adding more coffee or vanilla ice cream. A splash of creamer works too! Experiment with the flavors—you really can’t go wrong.

Make Ahead Boozy Coffee Milkshakes

Take advantage of the make ahead ease of these boozy shakes. Make a double batch and keep refrigerated. You may need to stir before serving.

Whipped Cream Topping

I prefer unsweetened cream, but you can sweeten it if you like—it’s totally up to you! I also added a chocolate coated cookie straw.

Kid Friendly Irish Coffee Milkshake

Simply leave out the alcohol and garnish with sprinkles—they’ll love it!  If you don’t want to give the coffee ice cream, use chocolate ice cream.
