Time for me to tell you about the next prize up for grabs and to open entries! Remember, you can still enter to win all the previous prizes until July 29th!
This week I am giving away something absolutely beautiful, and duhlicious to boot! Madalina from Duh-Licious is an amazing gal I met at a blogger event a few months ago. She is an incredible baker and makes wonderful custom cupcakes for all occasions! You can check out some of her creations here.
Madalina has supplied me with a gift certificate for one dozen cupcakes to give away; that’s a $40 value! I’m so excited to give this away, it coincides with my half-birthday which is SO much better than my real birthday! Yay for July!
Now, one thing I do have to mention is that: This contest is only open to people residing in the GTA. If you are not part of the Greater Toronto Area, unfortunately you cannot win this prize. The reason comes down to transportation: Madalina is located in Toronto, so the prize must go to a local for pickup.
Now that that is out of the way… let me just say I am SO jealous of the winner! I mean, look at these fantastic cupcakes, they’re veritable works of art! It was tough trying to decide which photos to include in this post because there are so many fantastic examples. I’m drooling as I type this. Apparently Madalina even enters competitions and goes to conventions. 1) There are conventions?!?!? 2) WHERE!?!?!? 3) Nom nom nom nom nom
Anyway, onto the deets…
The entry rules are the same as last week. Please remember to leave a comment for each individual task you completed–those are your entries!
There are a maximum of four (4) entries you can receive. For each of the below methods, please leave a separate comment with proof and your email (with spaces so the spiders can’t read it is fine). I will be selecting the winner using random.org.
- 1 Entry: Make a post on your blog about the relaunch of GWS, and/or the celebration prizes I am giving away all month. Leave a URL to your post in your comment.
- 1 Entry: Subscribe to my RSS feed & leave a comment saying you did so (please be honest!)
- 1 Entry: Tweet about my blog relaunch and/or celebration prizes, please list the URL of the Tweet in the comments, and/or @gingercorsair me in it.
- 1 Entry: Leave a comment telling me about the best cupcake you ever had!
Winners will be announced on Wednesday, July 29th.

The best cupcake I ever had was from Whole Foods – I bought some to bring over to a friend's house for his birthday. We each had one for dessert and you could just tell it was made from quality ingrediants. There were two left so I commented to my friend that he and his husband would each get to eat one the following day and he said he wasn't going to share, they were too good!
Er.. can I do all my entries in one comment? Let's give that a shot.
1. Here's where I blogged about it: FREE CUPCAKES!
2. I re-tweeted on Twitter about the cupcakes.
3. I'm already subscribing to your RSS Feed
4. The best cupcake I ever had was at Magnolia Bakery in NYC.
The cupcakes were vanilla, velvety soft and I could've eaten the whole box if BF had not stopped me (they were $3 each!)
I would DIE if I won!
(Not literally. And only after I eat the cupcakes of course.)
The best cupcakes I've ever had were an assortment of mini cupcakes from Cupcakes in Vancouver. I bought a 6 pack, brought them back to my hotel room and eat them while taking a bath- wonderful!
I also RT your announcement. See it here at http://twitter.com/atomickitty

4. Simple vanilla cupcakes from a bake sale in University. Nothing too frou frou but soo divine! I was sharing with my boyfriend who ended up finishing it because it was so good.
the best cupcake … well, I was given a cupcake by my RLC as a thank you for my work in res one year, and that was pretty tasty, but I don't think it was the best cupcake ever.
However, there is a sweet old man who works at the security desk in the building I work at. I say chat with him everyday, and last year at Christmas, his wife made a bunch of treats for him to give out. There were these little mini cupcakes with frosting and decorations – super fresh and so very tasty! I ended up asking for a second when I came down later to check the mail ๐ I went with the vanilla cupcake, and it was so delicious!
Soo cool! What a yummy contest! ๐
1. Oh yeah, Sweet, sweet cupcakes!
2. Tweeted ๐

4. Hmmmmm…probably the ones at the Hummingbird Bakery in Notting Hill in London. I pretty much adored their black bottom cheesecake one AND their red velvet one!
I've now subscribed to the feed!
P.S. I don't actually use the gmail account – it's just required to leave a comment. If by chance I do win, and you are sending an email notification, you can send it to that address but to hotmail rather than gmail.
