Its late at night and I just got home from my silversmithing class. I finished carving and sanding the two wax skulls I was making into pendants. I’ll be able to cast them in silver next week. Yay! I’d post a photo of them in wax but I can’t figure out how to transfer photos from my phone…
Tomorrow is my birthday, so I got my email from Sephora letting me know I can go in and pick up my free bottle of bubble bath as their gift to me.
But you know what?
I’m not going to get it.
I’ve decided that even though it’s free, I’m not going to take it. My place is still cluttered with all kinds of body washes, shampoos, lotions and potions. I just made a committment to try and organize my life so I am taking the first step and saying “no thanks” to something I know will just add clutter and won’t be used, even if it is free!
On another note, I just found an awesome blog about crafting and creating in Toronto. I’m totally stoked. I think I’m going to take some ceramics classes to keep my creative juices flowing!

I know some people will GASP at this suggestion, but why don’t you go ahead and pick up your bubble bath, but keep it in case you ever need to get a small gift for someone? When I was in school I used to get tons of freebies from companies and career fairs visiting campus…and no one ever minded receiving them even though it was obviously a giveaway. [shrugs] Just a thought. =] If space is a huge issue you may not want to do this anyway.
Awesome on getting crafty!! I’d love to do it more, but it gets expensive! I gotta take things one at a time even (or even slower) though I’d like to sign up for 10 classes at once.
