Workout Videos?

I think I want to start working out at home and have been on the prowl for a good workout video or two.

I’m pretty out of shape and only have limited room in my apartment so it’s been a bit of a problem (can’t do jumping jacks in my space!). I might have some hand weights and a yoga mat to help me.

Anyone know any good workout videos? Remember, I’m fat so I need to start out with something slow and easy. My main goal is to work on my cardio and endurance.

Any suggestions or tips?

  1. I really liked the MTV Pilates and Yoga when I was in college. It sounds hokey, but they’re just regular exercise videos.

  2. Try to find a copy of Yoga for Round Bodies. It’s old but it’s excellent.

I order from Collage Video. They have eveything you could possibly want.

  3. I like the Walk Away The Pounds series. You can get the 1-2-3 mile combo, start slowly then work your way up to the 3 mile walk. If I can do it, so can you!!

(you do it in the living room, minimal space required)

  4. I’ve heard good things about the P90X program … I’m in the process of acquiring it now.

Yoga for Round Bodies? Sounds right up my alley!

  5. I really like to dance videos … they are more fun! this isn’t really cardio but Kathy Smith Pilates for the Lower Body changed the entire shape of my body!
