Since I’ve made the decision to give up JC and cook for myself, I have developed a crush on the newer crock pots with time settings that switch to warm.
*girlish sigh*
See, I’m not very good at cooking, but I seem to do ok whenever there’s a crockpot involved, so I’ve become fixated on the appliance. Of course, reading all the delicious recipes that Stephanie posts everyday is not helping, either.
I want a new one because it’s probably safer than the one I currently have (Which is older than me by about 5 years!) but also so I can do crockpot recipes in tandem… oooh doesn’t it just give you the chills thinking about how awesome that would be?
I’ve got my eye on one of the more deluxe models, a Hamilton Beach Set N’ Forget (pictured). I’m just waiting to find one that’s comparable on Craigslist, because I certainly don’t want to pay full price!

This is a cool product. It is one of those that really work well. Not just a name but a real product that works
