JC Update


Well, I’m quite overdue for my promised post on my Jenny Craig diet.

I signed up a couple of weeks ago in the hopes that it will help me shed about 80 lbs. total. I know! That’s a lot!

You see, I’m ok in the exercise area; living in Toronto I walk almost everywhere, and I enjoy my hardcore kung fu/sparring workouts a couple times a week. This has helped me lose some weight, but now I’ve plateaued. And I’m also sick of being fat.

I’m a nice-looking fat, but fat nonetheless. I don’t want to be skinny, I just want to be smaller, healthier and prettier!

Anyway, I went for my 3rd consultation today and I’m down 5 lbs. *sigh* I really wish it were more. They say you should lose an average of 1-2 lbs. every week, so I figured I would be down more than 6 pounds by now ๐Ÿ™ But I guess 5 is better than nothing, especially since I’ve been eating out a lot for my job and social reasons. I try and pick the healthier items and eat less of them to make up for it.

Anyway, there’s my update, I suppose I’ll post about it every once in a while. I’m happy to answer any questions about my experiences so far, so please leave me a comment or email and I’ll do my best to answer!

  1. yeah i agree, you should TOTALLY be proud of yourself Ginger! 5 lbs is much better than a lot of “dieters” that i know ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Haha thanks for the support, guys!

    While I was happy to report that I lost the poundage… I also lost a lot of weight in my wallet :S

    JC is really taxing on the pocketbook, but I guess I can classify it as an investment, right?

    Luckily they’re one of my clients so I just got a little discount coupon thing to use on their services. Hopefully it will save me $$$ in the future!
