I’m happy you enjoy my custard tarts, thank you. I think the tart shells would work well for the bacon, egg and tomato tarts. . As far as baking time, I can’t really say since I haven’t tried it, but start with 10 minute and keep an eye on them until the egg is cooked. I have another of your recipes, the Old Fashioned Custard Tarts and I truly do love those. I was wondering about the possibility of using tart shells for this breakfast recipe? I don’t have puff pastry and am an hour away from the closest grocery store. I have some tart shells that I was going to use for the custard tarts and thought they might be able to used here in place of the pastry. Is it feasible to do this? The ingredients look like they would hold up well. What’s your professional opinion on this?
