If you mix equal amounts of 1% and cream that would be similar to whole milk. You can also use all 1% milk or all cream, the choice is yours 🙂

Can you substitute whole milk for 1% milk or whipping cream.? I don’t have whole milk.

The Brussels sprouts will be fine if you boil ahead of time. The cheese sauce you can also make ahead but it will get thick when refrigerated. What I suggest is reheating it in a pan over low heat until it, you can whisk in more milk if needed until is back to a saucy consistency, then pour over the Brussels before baking. Enjoy!
