Yes. The filling is perfect with topping. Think pouring cream over top might be the answer for me anyway rather than ice cream and carmel sauce.

Thought it was a bit too sweet. I enjoyed the combination of apples and blackberries. Think it is just fine by itself. The sauce is yummy. I could not find apple extract so made it without it. I baked it in one skillet and served it in bowls rather than bake it separately. The baking as a whole was about 35 minutes. I added 1 tablespoon of flour to help it thicken up. Make sure it is bubbling with thick bubbles before removing from oven.
